MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />December 18, 2000 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall on Monday, December 18, 2000, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the <br />meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the <br />Council were present: <br /> Mr. Wayne Munkel <br /> Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br /> Mr. Larry Lieberman <br /> Mr. Paul Schoomer <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. ABSENT: Ms. Cassandra Colquitt was <br />excused. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the November 27, 2000 Council meeting minutes. Mr. <br />Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved the appointment of Mr. John Solodar, 8135 Cornell, to the Board of <br />Adjustment for an unexpired term ending July 7, 2001. Mr. Wagner seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams moved the appointment of Scott Giffen, 7366 Pershing Avenue, to the <br />Committee for Access and Local Origination Programming (CALOP) for an unexpired <br />term ending September 9, 2001. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />REAPPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the reappointment of Erin Shocklee and Susan Shafers to the <br />Traffic Commission for terms ending January 21,2004. Mr. Sharpe seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SPECIAL VISITORS: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams welcomed Boy Scout Troop Number 49 from First Presbyterian. They <br />are present to receive credits to earn their citizenship badges. <br /> <br /> <br />
