INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Sharpe DATE: December 8, 2014 BILL NO. 9247 ORDINANCE NO. n 6976 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER X AND XI OF THE TRAFFIC CODE, TO REVISE TRAFFIC REGULATION AS PROVIDED HEREIN. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapters X and XI of the Traffic Code, of the University City Municipal Code are amended as provided herein. Language to be deleted from the Code is represented as s#i ; language to be added to the Code is emphasized. This Ordinance contemplates no revisions to the Code other than those so designated; any language or provisions from the Code omitted from this Ordinance is represented by an ellipsis and remains in full force and effect. Section 2. Chapters X and XI of the Traffic Code of the University City Municipal Code is hereby amended to add and remove Left turns on certain streets, and right turns on red at the intersections of Big Bend Blvd and Lindell Ave and Olive Blvd and Hanley Road, respectively, which the City had designated as a place where left and right turns on red are prohibited at all times. Such portions of "Chapters X and XI" of the Traffic Code shall be amended as follows: Traffic Code Chapters Chapter X — Left Turns Prohibited on certain streets at all times or during designated hours Table X -A Left Turns Prohibited On Certain Streets At All Times Or During Designated Hours. No. 6660 § 1, 2006] It is unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to turn such vehicle to the left on the following streets: Lindell Avenue at Big Bend Boulevard Chapter XI — Turning Regulations Table XI -B Designation Of Intersections Prohibiting Right Turn On Red.
