INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Sharpe DATE: January 12, 2015 <br /> BILL NO. 9248 ORDINANCE NO. 6977 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 410 OF THE <br /> BUILDING CODE, TO REVISE FLOODPLAIN <br /> MANAGEMENT AS PROVIDED HEREIN. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Chapter 410 of the Building Code of the University City Municipal Code is <br /> amended as provided herein. Language to be deleted from the Code is represented as <br /> language to be added to the Code is emphasized. This Ordinance <br /> contemplates no revisions to the Code other than those so designated; any language or <br /> provisions from the Code omitted from this Ordinance is represented by an ellipsis and <br /> remains in full force and effect. <br /> Section 2. Chapter 410 of the Building Code of the University City Municipal Code is <br /> hereby amended to incorporate changes following the issuance of new Flood Insurance <br /> Rates Maps from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Such portions of <br /> "Chapter 410" of the Building Code shall be amended as follows: <br /> Chapter 410 — Floodplain Management <br /> Article I.
