15th day of July, 1975, between the School Leasor, and the City of University City, as years; and RESOLUTION RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, IN THE MATTER OF THE TERMINATION OF THE LEASE BETWEEN THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF UNIVERSITY CITY AND THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AND THE TERMINATION OF ANY INTEREST WHICH THE CITY MAY HAVE IN THE PERSHING COMMUNITY CENTER LOCATED AT 6761BARTMER AVENUE. WHEREAS, the City of University City entered into a Lease District of University Leasee, for a period of on the City, as ten (10) whatever interest it has in said building and property; and WHEREAS, the School District of University City is desirous of using said building and property for school purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVER- SITY CITY: The Lease heretofore executed between the School District of Univer- sity City, the Leasor, and the City of University City, the Leasee, and hereinafter more particularly described, hereby is terminated and cancelled and shall be of no further force and effect, and Leasee releases, relinquishes and quit claims to Leasor any and all right, title, interest or demand possessed or claimed by Leasee in or to the property covered by said Lease; and each party and the agents, employees and representatives of each and all of them are released from any and all liability, past, present and future, of whatever klnd or character, by reason of or growing out of or rising or exist- ing in connection with the execution of said Lease or any of the terms or provisions thereof, or by reason of the breach or alleged breach, or conduct or activity resulting in breach or alleged breach, of any of terms or pro- visions in said Lease. WHEREAS, the City is desirous of terminating said Lease and ending WHEREAS, the Lease provided for that portion of the Pershing Elemen- tary School, located at 6761Bartmer Avenue, which is beneath the Library and comprised of an area of 74'8" x 33'2", and the term of said Lease was ten (10) years commen ing on the 15th day of July, 1975, and ending on the 15th day of July, 1985; and WHEREAS, the community schools' program no longer uses said build- ing; and
