The City is providing
the Traffic Commission this information for review. Residents are being surveyed to determine
their interest in parking restrictions and/or implementation of a Residential Parking Permit
system on their street.

2.“No Parking Signs” for Gay, Lafon, Teasdale and Mapleview

Please find attached a letter from Nancy A. Sachar, dated August 3, 2005. She is requesting
“No Parking signs” and enforcement of the signs for Gay, Lafon, Teasdale, Mapleview and
streets adjacent to Gay field.

She states that Clayton is moving ahead with lighting for the Gay field. She fears that Clayton
will sponsor many large money raising events to make up for the funding short fall for they
project and that these events will probably cause parking problems all over the adjacent U. City
neighborhoods. She wants to be prepared for this problem.

th
On August 29, Tim Wonisch (Director of Facility Services of Clayton School District)
expressed that the project is starting in the next couple of weeks and they have the money to
perform the project. He is not the one involved in the fund-raising but this activity would not
involve big crowds of people but private phone calls.

The Engineering division is providing this information for your review.

3.Options for Creating parking on Loop North

For Your Information please find attached a memo from the Public Works Director to the City
Manager outlining seven options for providing parking on Loop North.
