<br />Plan Commission <br />Minutes <br />October 26, 2011 <br />The Plan Commission held their regular meeting in the EOC Room located at City Hall, 6801 <br />Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on October 26, 2011. The meeting commenced at <br />7:05 pm. <br />Voting Members Present <br />Voting Members Absent <br />Ben Halpert (Chairperson) Tom Byrne <br />Deidre Lewis (Vice-Chairperson) Nova Felton <br />Paulette Carr Lisa Greening <br />Ben Senturia <br />Non-Voting Council Liaison Present <br />Stephen Kraft <br />Staff Present <br />Andrea Riganti, Director of Community Development <br />Ray Lai, Deputy Director of Planning, Zoning, and Economic Development <br />Zach Greatens, Planner <br />Other Business <br />Presentation: <br /> University City Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan – Margaret Johnson, Chair, <br />Mayor’s Task Force on University City’s Bike and Walkability; Tim Breihan, H3 Studio <br />The Chairperson introduced Margaret Johnson, Chairperson of the Mayor’s Task Force on <br />University City’s Bike and Walkability, and Tim Breihan with H3 Studio. <br />Margaret Johnson briefly explained the purpose of the Task Force on Bike and Walkability and <br />what the group has been working on. <br />Tim Breihan gave a presentation on the University City Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan. He <br />gave an overview of what has been completed since the last time the Plan was presented to the <br />Plan Commission. <br />Approval of Minutes <br />The Chairperson asked for a motion to approve the October 5, 2011 Plan Commission Meeting <br />minutes. Mr. Senturia asked about the motion by Ms. Carr regarding the presentation about the <br />Parkview Gardens neighborhood plan. Ms. Carr stated that her motion was that the consultant <br />continues their work on the plan and it was approved. Mr. Lai added that the recommendation <br />was made with the preferred option being the mixed-use option presented. Mr. Senturia asked <br />that the approval be reflected in the minutes.
