Traffic Commission 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri 63130, Phone: (314) 862-6767, Fax: (314) 863-9146 CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY MINUTES OF THE TRAFFIC COMMISSION June 13, 2012 Commissioner Melcine Henderson called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. The members present were:  Stefany Brot  Catherine Nichols  Michael Gingrich  Jackie Womack  Angelica Gutierrez, Public Works Liaison  Sinan Alpaslan, P.E., City Engineer  Paulette Carr, Council Liaison  Shaun Margul, Police Department Representative Members not present:  Vacant  Phyllis Blalock Others present:  John Solodar, resident at 8135 Cornell Ct  Nancy Solodar, resident at 8135 Cornell Ct  Ethan Schuman, resident at 8258 Groby Rd  Ed Mass, resident at 8360 Cornell Ave  Karl Scheidt, 8136 Groby Rd, School District Representative  Sarah Holahan, resident at 7255 Dorset Ave th  Dawn Price and Byron Price, residents at 1520 78 Street Commissioner Melcine Henderson introduced and welcomed Mr. Michael Gingrich as new member of the Traffic Commission and Councilmember Mrs. Paulette Carr, as the new City Council Liaison for the Traffic Commission. 1. Approval of Minutes March 14, 2012. Commissioner Brot made a motion to approve the minutes from the March 14, 2012 Traffic Commission meeting, seconded by Commissioner Womack and unanimously approved. Commissioner Henderson explained that the first items in the agenda are similar in nature and could be addressed at the same time and asked the Commissioners for questions regarding the first items on the agenda. Commissioner Brot referred to the agenda item #4 - Request to install a Stop Sign on Eastgate Ave at Cabanne Ave., and asked about the exact location of the proposed signs and question a one-way designation in the area.
