RESIDENCY POLICY Only University City residents are eligible for recreation programs, activities and events sponsored by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry (unless otherwise noted)

PAYMENT POLICY Checks should be made payable to "City of University City" and must be made for the exact amount of the fee.

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry reserves the right to:

  • limit the number of participants for a program, activity or event.
  • cancel any event or program due to lack of participation.

The University City Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry's programs and facilities are available for persons with all disabilities. The City of University City is working to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and welcomes additional comments.

Mary Furfaro, our Coordinator of Inclusive Recreation is available to assist people with disabilities into recreation programs and city services. Mary will work with the individual and their family to determine if any accommodations are needed (i.e. adapting equipment, providing sign language interpreter, etc.). If you have a disability and need assistance or accommodations at the time of registration. Mary will contact you to determine how we can best meet your needs. For additional information, Mary may be reached at 963-5600 or by Relay Missouri at 1-800-735-2966 (TDD). Volunteers are also needed to assist people with disabilities in our recreation programs.
