The Department of Public Works mission is to maintain the integrity of all public systems and services vital to the health, safety and quality of life of the residents of University City.

Administration

The administrative office is located on the 3rd floor of City Hall at 6801 Delmar Boulevard. Evelyn Shields Benford heads the department as Director of Public Works. The administrative office is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations and staff. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The telephone number is 314-505-8560.
