Session 1807 <br />April 2, 2001 <br /> <br />PROCLAMATBON - DAYS OF REMEMBRANCE (REMEMBERING THE <br />HOLOCAUST): <br /> <br />Mayor Adams read a proclamation for the Days of Remembrance, which begins on <br />April 15, through April 22, 2001. Yore Hashcab is on April 19th. The Days of <br />Remembrance honors the victims, the survivors and their liberators, of the Holocaust. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved adoption. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, which carded <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - SUPPORTING GRANT APPLICATION FOR <br />TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FUNDING: <br /> <br />This resolution allows the City to apply for another round of grant funding for Olive <br />improvements. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - TRANSFER OF CABLE FRANCHISE: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams said that the resolution acknowledges the transfer of AT&T Broadband's <br />cable franchise to Charter Communication. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved approval. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Responding to Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Ollendorff said that the franchise expiration is in the <br />middle of June. The attorneys recommend dealing with details when the franchise is <br />renewed. <br /> <br />The motion to approve carded unanimously. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE: <br /> <br />The City Clerk administered the oath of office to the following: Mr. Charles Mosley - <br />Park Commission. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams thanked Mr. Mosley for his willingness to serve the City in this capacity, <br />because without citizen volunteers, the City could not function very well. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
