<br />Ms. Brot inquired as to whether a selection had been made for someone to represent the <br />City or Council for Washington University’s Big Read program. Ms. Brot would like to <br />volunteer for this. On another subject, Ms. Brot inquired as to whether anyone had been <br />chosen to participate in the MetroLink’s grand opening. Mayor Adams said that he would <br />be doing that. <br /> <br />Ms. Feier introduced her intern from UMSL for the next month, Colleen Ragan. <br /> <br />Next meeting is scheduled for August 21, which is open to all concerned, for training and <br />questions on the Public Liability Insurance and the Sunshine Law in the Council <br />Chambers. August 28, 2006, is the next regular Council Session with a Study Session on <br />Council Work Rules and Procedures, to be held at 5:30 p.m., before the Regular Session. <br />September 18, 2006, there is an Economic Policy review Study Session, to be held at 5:30 <br />p.m., in Council chambers before the regular Council Session. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams announced the Gala on September 2, 2006, and said that all should have <br />received their invitation by mail. <br /> <br />Meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Joyce Pumm <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
