He wished, to know the rats of sucoessful place- <br />ment for Watterson's ~a~duates, and the rata of default on loans given to its <br />students. Mr. Eunice said tbs_re was virtually 100% placement of graduates in <br /> <br />the average is about 75% placmment. Regaz~l~ the default rats, the school <br />has had 1/mi~ experience (less than two years) with the loan program, but a <br />r~m~x~ble estimats was 20-25%. He noted that the school deals with a high <br />risk population, and it is continually working with students to make ,the{n <br />aware of their obligations. Returning to the sign issue, Mr. Eunice said the <br />school will occupy the second and part of the third floors plus the basement <br />for its operation. <br /> <br />Mr. Price asked if the college could have a sign on the first floor with the <br />permission of the owner. Mr. Ollendorff said the college could not utilize <br />the first floor, since in the Ioop the first floor must be used only for re- <br />tail/c~L,L~rcial unless Council ~z~nts an exception. <br /> <br />Mr. Sc/locker pointed out that the way the building is constructed, with over- <br />hangs to the curbline, makes it a very difficult location to sign.
