SESSI(~ 1498 <br /> <br />M]/qUTKS OF T~E UNIVERSITY Cl'l~ (IX3NCIL <br /> <br /> J~ne 19, 1989 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Assem- <br />bly Roc~ of City Hall c~ Monday, June 19, 1989, Councilmember Joseph L. <br />Jr. called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to Mr. A~ams, the <br />following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Absent: Mayor Janet Majerus and Councilmembers Byron R. Price and Robert G. <br />Wagner, all of whc~n were ~. <br /> <br />Also present was city Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />Mrs. Sch~man moved that Mr. A~a~ be elected Mayor Pro Tern for this meeting. <br />Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unan/mously. <br /> <br />May 10. 1989 <br /> <br />Mrs. Schuman moved that the minutes of tb~ b~3et study meeting of May 10, <br />1989 be approved as submitted. Mr. Schocmner seconded the motion, which car- <br />ried unanimously. <br /> <br />May 15. 1989 <br /> <br />Mr. Sd~xm~_r moved approval of the minutes of the regular meeting of May 15, <br />1989 as submitted. Mrs. Schuman seconded the mot/on, which carried unanimous- <br />ly. <br /> <br />Ms. Dorothy A. Davis, recently appointS_ to the Cu, m.~ttee for Access and Local <br />Origination Pro~£~m~g (CALOP), w-us given th~ oath of office by the City <br />Clerk. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tern A~m~ms welcn~d Ms. Davis to municipal service and thanked her <br />for agreeing to serve on this ~ ~portant University City c~Lu~dttee. <br /> <br />Four items had been listed under the (kmlsent Caler~ar; however, Mrs. ~n~son <br />asked that the first one, Bids for Tires, be r~,~Ved. It was so ordered, and <br />this item will be considered immediately following the Consent Caler~. <br /> <br /> <br />
