Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion. The roll call <br />vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, Mr. <br />Sharpe, Mr. Ware, Mr. Munkel and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill No. 8365 <br />became Ordinance No. 6147. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION: <br /> <br />A bill was introduced by Mr. Wagner, entitled: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING, SELLING AND CONVEYING TO ST. LOUIS COUNTY <br />WATER COMPANY A PERMANENT EASEMENT ON A STRIP OF GROUND <br />LOCATED ADJACENT TO HARVARD AVENUE. <br /> <br />The bill was assigned No. 8366 and was given its first reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer wanted to make sure this actually belonged to the City. Mr. <br />Ollendorff said that this was property owned by the City and is next to City Hall. It <br />is not school property or University Heights #1 property. The water company is in <br />the process of getting an easement from the school district. Mr. Munkel wished to <br />clarify if we are selling the property or was the property being retained. Mr. <br />Ollendorff said it was for just an easement, we would still own the property. <br /> <br />A bill was introduced by Mr. Sharpe, entitled: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING, SELLING AND CONVEYING A TRACT OF LAND <br />MEASURING APPROXIMATELY 35 FEET FROM NORTH AND SOUTH AND 1061 <br />FEET FROM WEST TO EAST, SOUTH OF VERNON AVENUE AND EAST FROM A <br />POINT 733 FEET EAST OF PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, TO THE METROPOLITAN <br />ST.
