He noted that this item was re- <br />moved frc~ the Consent Calendar at a councilmsmber's request. MOPIRG wishes <br />to make a door-to-door canvass frc~ June 5 - 26, 1989, using 20 paid solici- <br />tors, who will ask residents to support MOPIRG'S progzoms financially and by <br />signature. Residential canvassing will be concluded at sunset, except by pri- <br />or appointment. Approval was rec~,u~ended. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved appro%~ul, with Mrs. Th~,~son seoonding the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Luepke, 6920 Magnolia, representing ~DPIIgG, was asked to come forward. <br />Mr. Wagner asked if canvassers would be circulating any initiative petitions <br />during the solicitation period.
