a <br /> INTRODUCED BY: Councilmember Jennings DATE: May 11, 2015 <br /> BILL NO. 9262 ORDINANCE NO. 6990 <br /> x <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 400 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF 1 <br /> THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO ZONING, BY AMENDING <br /> SECTIONS 400.260; 400.280; 400.330; 400.340; 400.530; 400.590; 400.650, <br /> 400.770; 400.1120; 400.1130; AND 400.1140; THEREOF, RELATING TO <br /> MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, SITE SIZE <br /> FOR PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICTS, AND FLOOR AREA <br /> REGULATIONS FOR COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS; CONTAINING A SAVINGS <br /> CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br /> MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS: <br /> , <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 400 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, Missouri <br /> divides the City into several zoning districts and regulates the uses and off-street parking on <br /> which the premises located therein may be put; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission in a meeting held at the Heman Park Community <br /> Center located at 975 Pennsylvania Avenue, University City, Missouri on April 22, 2015 at 6:30 <br /> pm recommended amendments of Sections 400.260; 400.280; 400.330; 400.340; 400.530; , <br /> 400.590; 400.650; 400.770; 400.1120; 400.1130; and 400.1140 of said Code, and <br /> WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing to be held by the City Council in the Stn Floor <br /> City Council Chambers at City Hall at 6:30 pm, May 11, 2015, was duly published in the St. <br /> Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within said City on April 26, 2015; and <br /> WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the time and place specified in said notice, <br /> and all suggestions or objections concerning said amendments of the Zoning Code were duly <br /> heard and considered by the City Council. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Chapter 400 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, <br /> Missouri, relating to zoning, is hereby amended, by amending the following Sections and <br /> relating to the descriptions thereafter 400.260; 400.280; 400.330; 400.340; 400.530; 400.590; <br /> 400.650; 400.770; 400.1120; 400.1130; and 400.1140-multi-family residential development 0 <br /> regulations, site size for Planned Development Districts, and floor area regulations for <br /> commercial buildings; and as so amended shall read as follows (where applicable, bolded text is <br /> added text and stricken text is removed): <br /> Article 4: District Regulations <br /> Division 3: "MR" Medium Density Residential District <br /> 1 <br />
