Session 1815
June 25, 2001

BACK TO AGENDA #4 - CDBG GFIANT FUNDING:

Mr. Schoomer moved approval of the CDBG allocation. Mr. Munkel seconded it.

Mr. Sharpe asked that Herschel Asner's request for $5,000 be added to the funding.
Mr. Ollendorff said that the allocation approved tonight is just a preliminary application
for funding. The final allocation does not have to be set until January 2002. He cannot
add the $5,000 without evaluating whether this request falls under the eligibility
requirements of the CDBG program.

Mr. Munkel thought that social services for seniors is something that the City Council
should study at the next study session.

The motion to approve carried unanimously.

MENDEL DRIVE - MSD:

Mr. Munkel stated that Mendel Dr. needs to be made a high priority with MSD.
