The service provided by Corporate <br />Express remains excellent and pricing has not changed. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval of the amended consent calendar. Mr. Sharpe <br />seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA #2 o PUBLIC HEARING - ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT: <br /> <br />This is the time and place established for a public hearing on a proposed six month <br />moratorium on permits for adult-oriented businesses. The Plan Commission will be <br />reviewing and updating our zoning regulations regarding video stores, book stores, and <br />entertainment establishments with sexually-oriented activities. During this interim <br />period we do not want to approve or deny new businesses based on our out-of-date <br />criteria. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams declared the public hearing opened at 7:39 p.m. <br /> <br />Elsie Glickert, 6712 Etzel, stated that she certainly wished to endorse the moratorium. <br />She would hope that this would prevent any businesses dealing in explicit pornographic <br />materials in University City.
