<br /> <br />Historic Preservation Commission <br />May 21, 2015 Meeting Minutes <br />(approved 7-16-2015) <br /> <br />The Historic Preservation Commission held a meeting in the Heman Park Community Center located at <br />975 Pennsylvania Avenue, University City, Missouri on Thursday, May 21, 2015. The meeting <br />commenced at 6:35 pm. <br /> <br />1. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />2.a. March 19, 2015 Historic Preservation Commission meeting minutes <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mr. Guest to approve the March 19, 2015 meeting minutes as written. <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Wesenberg and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3. Old Business None <br /> <br />4. New Business <br /> <br />4.a. File Number: HPC 15-01 711, 717, 721, 736, 740, 741-745, 746, 800, 812, and 816 Eastgate <br />Avenue Design review for proposed exterior renovations to ten multi-family residential buildings <br />in the Delmar Loop Parkview Gardens Historic District (National Register of Historic Places) <br /> <br />Mr. Greatens provided a brief overview of maps and pictures of the properties and summarized <br />the review criteria for the proposal. <br /> <br />The applicant, Mr. Stu Leipziger with The Lawrence Group, summarized the proposed <br />renovations, which were similar for all 10 buildings. The work included tuck-pointing, roof <br />work, gables over front doors, exterior lighting, and other exterior repairs. There will also be <br />new landscaping and irrigation. The proposed renovations have been submitted for Historic Tax <br />Credits and the applicant indicated that they were coordinating with the National Park Service <br />(NPS) and were awaiting their approval, likely during the last week of May. <br /> <br />tğŭĻ Њ ƚŅ Ћ <br /> <br />
