Session 1827 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />December 3, 2001 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall on Monday, December 3, 2001, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting <br />to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council <br />were present: <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Larry Lieberman <br /> Mr. Paul Schoomer <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />EXCUSED: Ms. Colquitt and Mr. Munkel. Also present was City Manager Frank <br />Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the November 19, 2001 regular session minutes. Mr. <br />Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval of the Novernber 23, 2001 special meeting minutes. Mr. <br />Wagner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS: <br /> <br />AGENDA #1 - CONSENT CALENDAR: <br /> <br />#1- Turnout Gear. Quotations have been received to provide ten sets of turnout coats <br />and pants for the Fire Department. $11,000 was set aside in the budget. Four <br />companies were invited to bid. <br /> <br />Battalion Three <br />*Leo Ellebracht <br /> <br />$10,490.00 <br />$ 9,250.00 <br /> <br />*Female Business Enterprise <br /> <br />The turnout gear offered by Leo Ellebracht does not meet the department's <br />specifications. Mr. Ollendorff recommends that the bid be awarded to Battalion Three <br />which met all specifications for the price of $'10,490.00. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval of the consent calendar. Mr. Wagner seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
