SESSION 1715 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />FEBRUARY 9, 1998 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chamber <br />of City Hall on Monday, February 9, 1998, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting <br />to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council <br />were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Hardy Ware <br />Mr. Wayne I. Munkel <br />Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Mr. Larry Lieberman <br />Mr. Paul E. Schoomer <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the minutes of January 26, 1998. Mr. Sharpe seconded <br />the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE: <br /> <br />The following new or reappointed members of the City's boards or commissions were <br />given the oath of office by the City Clerk: Ms. Jane Miller and Ms. Susan Schafers -- <br />Traffic Commission. <br /> <br />The Mayor thanked the ladies for their desire to serve the City on this important <br />commission. Mayor Adams said that the work of citizens in this capacity were <br />invaluable and of great benefit to the City. <br /> <br />WEBELO'S PACK #596: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams introduced Webelo's Pack #596 of Delmar Gardens, who were attending <br />the Council Meeting this evening to obtain their citizenship badges, <br /> <br /> <br />
