<br />February 26, 2007 <br /> MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />February 26, 2007 <br /> <br />At the Regular Council Session of the City Council of University City held in the <br />Chambers of the City Hall, on Monday, February 26, 2007, Mayor Adams called the <br />meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the <br />Council were present: <br /> Ms. Stefany Brot <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also in attendance were the City Manager, Ms. Julie Feier and the Deputy City <br />Manager/Finance Director Ms. Janet Watson. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />The minutes of February 5, 2007, Study Session were moved for adoption by Mr. Sharpe, <br />Jr., seconded by Mr. Glickert and approved unanimously. <br />The amended minutes of February 5, 2007, Council Session were moved for adoption by <br />Ms. Brot, seconded by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. and approved unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS <br />Judith Baernstein and Ted Slegesky were sworn in as new members of the Urban <br />Forestry Commission. <br />John Starbenz was sworn in as a new member of the Parks’ Commission. <br /> <br />Karen Palmer was nominated by Mr. Wagner for the Parks’ Commission, seconded by <br /> Mr. Price and approved unanimously. <br />Abbie Carter was nominated by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. for the Urban Forestry Commission, <br />seconded by Mr. Wagner and approved unanimously. <br />Mary Hart was reappointed to the Parks’ Commission by Mr. Sharpe, Jr., seconded by <br /> Mr. Wagner and approved unanimously. <br />Barry Pessin was nominated to the LCRA board by Mayor Adams, seconded by Mr. <br /> Sharpe, Jr., and approved unanimously. <br />Mr. Robert Harland Wilcox was nominated to CALOP by Mayor Adams. seconded by Mr. <br /> Sharpe, Jr and approved unanimously. <br />Daniel Talonn was nominated to the Arts and Letters Commission by Ms. Brot, seconded <br /> by Mr. Glickert and approved unanimously. <br />Caryn St. Clair was nominated to the Arts and Letters Commission by Mr. Glickert, <br /> seconded by Mr. Wagner and approved unanimously. <br />Stacy Clay was nominated to the Urban Forestry Commission by Mr. Price, seconded by <br /> Mr. Sharpe, Jr., and approved unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br />
