The alignment of the Centennial Greenway Corridor has emerged from a thorough process of analysis, extensive field studies and the regular engagement of the project Technical Advisory <br />and Citizens Advisory Committees. The alignment was then tested and confirmed with interested citizens attending public forums and with elected officials during informal discussions. <br /> The Centennial Greenway will pass within the boundaries of eight municipal entities, each of which has participated in the process Strategic alliances with other organizations have <br />been equally important to identifying the best possible corridor. It is essential that these relationships established during the planning process be nurtured as implementation proceeds. <br /> Discussions are in progress with Metro, Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (MSD), US Army Corps. of Engineers (COE), St. Louis Water <br />Division, University City Loop Special Business District, and five private entities: Washington University, Ameren, Old Farm Estates Homeowners Association, Parkview Neighborhood, Creve <br />Coeur Station Condominiums. Through the ongoing involvement of these entities, a collaborative approach has developed that addresses their concerns and issues. Other alliances with <br />grass-roots organizations, developers and other agencies will likely emerge as the <br />detail design of the Greenway is finalized and implementation begins. <br />of defining the corridor. <br /> <br />
