As the Centennial Greenway nears Interstate 270, it will follow the east side of Orchard Lakes Drive right-of-way to the south about one block to the City of St. Louis Water right-of-way. <br />Turning west, the Centennial Greenway will cross I-270 via a pedestrian bridge. The grade on the east side of I-270 is considerably higher than the road surface creating a logical place <br />for a bridge to be located. The bridge will cross I-270, and land in Water right-of-way on the west side of the highway. The bridge <br />should incorporate structural design elements and limestone monuments at the landings to signify the Centennial Greenway. <br /> <br />
