West of Fee Fee Road the Centennial Greenway will continue west on St. Louis City Water right-of-way to the Ameren right-of-way and on into Old Farm Estates (OFE) common ground area.
As the Centennial Greenway approaches Bookbinder Drive within the OFE common ground, it will veer north and enter the Water Division right-of-way, cross Bookbinder and then
veer south and re-enter OFE common ground. A buffer of native landscape will be provided in appropriate locations to screen the trail from adjacent property owners. As the design process
continues, continued discussions with Old Farm Estates trustees, to establish final alignment through OFE common ground and to negotiate an easement, are necessary. The final alignment
will not impact the existing playground, pool area or parking lot and will provide signage directing non-residents to public parking lots in Creve Coeur Park for trail access. Where
the Centennial Greenway crosses Bookbinder the residents of OFE have requested a speed mitigation table, because of the relative high speeds traffic tend to drive
through this valley section of Bookbinder.
