Please let <br />me know if you would prefer to hold the second budget study session at 2:00 PM on the <br />afternoon of May 16 or on the evening of Wednesday, May 23 at 6:30 PM. The public <br />hearing will be held during the May 21 Council meeting. <br /> <br />School Board will be May 8 <br />The date identified for the joint session with the at 5:30 <br />PM. The meeting will cover educational larceny and will be at the McNair building. <br /> <br />study session packet for April 30 <br />The is attached for your consideration. Community <br />Development Director Walker will review options for a redevelopment or study area at <br />the I-170 / Olive interchange. The packet includes information on the Economic <br />Development Tax Board. He will provide Council with an update during the Council <br />meeting as well. <br /> <br />Any hope of resolving outstanding issues with Mr. Kelly have dissolved and we are <br />Fire House 2 and City Hall <br />proceeding with bidding out the remaining work for . The <br />work slated for completion is a part of Kelly’s original contract. Once the bids are <br />received, we can proceed with releasing the remaining funds held in the performance <br />bonds. We will also proceed with arbitration for reimbursement on the costs to <br />repair/replace items damaged by the contractors and/or its subs. It is our plan to seek <br />arbitration only for those items. With respect to the compensation we are seeking for <br />damage to city property, the law allows a party to recover diminution of the fair market <br />value of damaged property.
