One cannot recover the cost of a brand new cabinet; it is necessary to <br />determine the fair market value of the old cabinet, or depreciate the cost of a new one. <br /> <br />Arbor Day celebration <br />The City will host an Friday, April 27 at 1:30 PM at Jackson <br />Park School. Friday morning there is an area wide celebration at the Jewel Box in <br />Forest Park where all cities that receive the Tree City USA designation will be <br />recognized. The Council will commemorate Arbor Day with a Proclamation on April 30. <br /> <br />The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers provided additional information on the public forum on <br />River des Peres. <br />the The Open House and Public Meeting will be held on June 7 at the <br />Community Center in Heman Park, to offer interested citizens an opportunity to discuss <br />ongoing flood damage reduction planning efforts for that portion of the University City <br />Branch of River des Peres between Purdue Avenue and Olive Boulevard. The agenda <br />is: <br />- 6:00 PM to 6:50 PM Open House: Citizens may view maps and talk with study <br />team members about specific concerns. <br />-7 PM Formal meeting: Corp and MSD representatives will present study results <br />to date and answer questions from audience. <br /> <br /> The study, being conducted by the Corp of Engineers in collaboration with the <br />City and MSD, has reached the stage where the Corp Study team would like to report <br />on its identification of the flood risks, present a preliminary screening of potential flood <br />reduction measures and solicit input from affected residents as to what conceptual <br />solutions should be examined in greater detail. <br /> <br />I have included a PowerPoint presentation from MSD as an attachment.
