Session 1823 <br />October 22, 2001 <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff suggested that we put two questions on the application. The first <br />question would be have you ever owned or' managed an operation with a liquor license <br />and second, have you ever worked at an operation with a liquor license. Council <br />agrees. <br /> <br />The motion passed six to one, with Ms. Colquitt voting Nay. <br /> <br />AGENDA #3 - BEER & WINE TRANSFER - 8435 OLIVE: <br /> <br />The City Council may approve the transfer of a license to sell beer and wine by the drink <br />at Liling Kitchen Restaurant (formerly Shu Feng) since the applicant appears to meet <br />ordinance requirements. The applicant has a clear record except for one alcohol <br />related driving incident. She has a good work record in the restaurant service field. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />CITY CLERK'S DOCKET: <br /> <br />BILLS FOR SECOND AND THIRD READING: <br /> <br />(postponed from 07/16/01) <br />BILL NO 8545 - AMENDING CHAPTER 8.28 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO THE PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE; <br />BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS PM-112.4.2 AND PM-202.0 OF SECTION <br />8.28.020 THEREOF, RELATING TO CONDITIONAL PERMITS AND GENERAL <br />DEFINITIONS, RESPECTIVELY, AND BY ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW <br />SUBSECTIONS TO BE KNOWN AS "PM-112.4.2 CONDITIONAL PERMIT," <br />AND SUBSECTION "PM-202.0 GENERAL DEFINITIONS;" AND BY ENACTING <br />IN SECTION 8.28.020 A NEW SUBSECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "PM-112.7 <br />RESIDENTIAL RENTAL PROPERTY;" THEREBY AMENDING SUBSECTION <br />PM-112.4.2 SO AS TO SHORTEN FROM NINETY (90) DAYS TO SIXTY (60) <br />DAYS THE PERIOD IN WHICH PREMISES SHOULD BE BROUGHT INTO <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE CODE UNDER A CONDITIONAL PERMIT, ADDING <br />A NEW SUBSECTION ON OCCUPANCY PERMITS FOR RESIDENTIAL <br />RENTAL PROPERTY AND PROVIDING A DEFINITION THEREFOR; <br />CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
