Citizens’ Forum <br />Ms. Feier announced that there was a scheduling issue with the second budget study <br />session on May 16 since this date turned out the be the best meeting day available for <br />the Citizens’ Forum on neighborhood youth recreational programs. The new date for <br />the Council to meet for its second budget study session will be May 18, 3:00 p.m., in <br />the EOC Room of City Hall. <br />D-2-b <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Ms. Brot thanked Director of Finance Ms. Janet Watson for her fine budget presentation. <br />She also thanked the City Clerk, Joyce Pumm, for her planning of the social function for <br />the Council and the School Board. Ms. Brot was appreciative of Mr. Dan Wald’s bringing <br />back local farmers and growers who will sell their produce at the outdoor Loop market on <br />Saturday mornings. <br /> <br />Mr. Price thanked Chief Adams for judiciously informing the youth of University City’s <br />ordinances governing their actions on City property. He also thanked the City Manager for <br />setting up the meeting with adult citizens and youth on how best to meet the recreational <br />needs of the youth in our community. <br /> <br />Ms. Rachel Watson reported the feedback on recreational programs desired by her fellow <br />classmates. She noted that most of her fellow students have jobs or camp planned for the <br />summer and did not have any definite recreational programs they would like. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved to go into Executive session for discussion of RSMo610(1) and (2), <br />Legal and Real Estate, seconded by Mr. Price and approved unanimously. <br /> <br />Meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m. to enter Executive session. <br /> <br />Joyce Pumm, City Clerk <br /> <br />D-2-c <br /> <br />
