<br />April 30, 2007 <br /> MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />April 30, 2007 <br /> <br />At the Regular Council Session of the City Council of University City held in the <br />Chambers of the City Hall, on Monday, April 30, 2007, Mayor Adams called the meeting <br />to order at 6:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council <br />were present: <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Ms. Stefany Brot <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br />Also in attendance was City Manager, Ms. Julie Feier. <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />1. Mr. Wagner moved for the introduction of a proclamation honoring David <br />Friedman, a University City artist, whose drawing of U.City’s City Hall was donated <br />to the City by his daughter, Miriam. <br />2. Mr. Sharpe, Jr., moved for the introduction of a proclamation honoring the Silver <br />Star Families – an organization which honors men and women wounded in the <br />Armed Forces. <br />3. Ms. Brot moved for the introduction of a proclamation for Arbor Day in which <br />University City was recognized as a Tree City by the National Arbor Day <br />Foundation <br />4. Mr. Price moved for the introduction of a proclamation for the Building Safety <br />Week, May 6 – 12. <br />5. Mr. Wagner moved for the introduction of a proclamation for Public Works Week, <br />May 20 – 26. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />April 16, 2007, Study Session minutes with their corrections were moved for approval by <br />Mr. Sharpe, Jr, seconded by Ms. Brot and approved unanimously. <br /> <br />April 16, 2007, Regular Session minutes with their corrections were moved for approval <br />by Ms. Brot, seconded by Mr. Glickert and approved unanimously. <br /> <br />April 23, 2007, Special Session minutes with their corrections were moved for approval <br />by Mr. Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Mr. Price and approved unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />SWEARING IN for COMMISSIONS <br />Anne Silverstein was sworn in for the Pension and Retirement Board. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
