This does not need to be done again. He <br />recommends that the Council kill this bill. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved defeat. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as <br />follows: AYES: Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, <br />Mr. Wagner and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. A bill was introduced by Ms. Colquitt, entitled: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND SURRENDERING A PORTIONOF AN <br />EASEMENT IN ONE MCKNIGHT PLACE, BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC <br />UTILITY EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE <br />RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS <br />COUNTY, MISSOURI. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading and assigned bill number 8576. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel stated that he had received a great number of complaints from his <br />constituents concerning the way that Charter is running their business and practices. <br />They are not being good neighbors. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman agreed and he also has been receiving a great numbers of calls, as well. <br />The assistant city manager has suggested that the citizens put their complaints in <br />writing and send them to city hall, so that we can compile a complete list. We can't do <br />anything about the fees, but we can do something about the service. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner said that Charter has sent out a notice that they will be increasing the fee <br />because the service has been enhanced.
