unless such sale, lease, disposal or gift be approved by a majority of the qualified electors <br /> voting on an ordinance to be submitted by the council in the manner prescribed in Article <br /> XII, Section 122 of this Charter: (a) the land and buildings on the site described in the <br /> general warranty deed of May 15, 1930, deed book 1088, page 113, including City Hall <br /> at 6801 Delmar Boulevard, the Annex commonly known as the police station and old <br /> firehouse, and the Old Public Library at 630 Trinity Avenue; (b) the University City <br /> Public Library at 6701 Delmar Boulevard and the land described in the general warranty <br /> deed of June 20,1968, deed book 6333, page 2313; (c) the Sutter-Meyer house at 6826 <br /> Chamberlain Court and the site described in the general warranty deed of October <br /> 22,2003, deed book 15429, page 3043; (d) The Gates of Opportunity, commonly known <br /> as the Lion Gates monument on the public right-of-way near Delmar Boulevard and <br /> Trinity Avenue. <br /> YES ❑ <br /> NO ❑ <br /> INSTRUCTIONS TO VOTERS: <br /> If you are in favor of the proposition submitted upon this ballot, place an X in the box opposite <br /> the word "YES". If you are opposed to the question, place an X in the box opposite the word <br /> "NO". <br /> Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file with the Board of Election <br /> Commissioners for St. Louis County, Missouri, a duly certified copy of this Ordinance and shall <br /> provide such Notice of the aforesaid election as required by Section 115.127(2) RSMo. <br /> Section 3. The ballots to be used at said election shall contain the information in <br /> substantially the form set forth above in Section 1, subject to such revisions and modifications as <br /> to form, but not content, as may be required for use of the voting system selected by the Board of <br /> Election. <br /> Section 4. The qualified voters of the City residing in the election precincts located within <br /> the City shall vote at such polling places and at such times as are otherwise established in <br /> connection with the General Election Day scheduled for April 5, 2016. <br /> Section 5. The Board of Election Commissioners of St. Louis County are authorized to <br /> take all action necessary or appropriate such that the election shall be conducted in full <br /> compliance with the requirements of applicable law and particularly Chapter 115 RSMo. <br /> Section 6. The Board of Election Commissioners of St. Louis County, as election authority <br /> for the election herein provided for, shall give the Notice of said election required by law, shall <br /> appoint the election judges for the polling places at which said election is to be held, and shall <br /> apply all voting equipment, ballot boxes, ballots, tally sheets, precinct registers, and other <br /> supplies necessary for the conduct of said election. <br />
