The Economic Development Sales Tax Board reviewed the RFP for the <br /> Olive Blvd. Design Guidelines <br />consultant to develop the this week. I have included a <br /> <br />copy of the request in your packet.Similarly, as follow up from our study session on the <br /> Redevelopment <br />Olive corridor, staff prepared the attached request for proposals for the <br />proposals at Olive & I-170 <br />.The request will gage the opportunity level at the <br />intersection and degree of development interest. It does not indicate a willingness on <br />behalf of the property owners to sell at this time. Please share your feedback on either <br />proposal by our next Council meeting. Staff intends to publicize and forward copies of <br />the requests by the end of the month. <br /> <br />If you are interested in participating in the City’s flexible spending account for <br />healthcare, I need you to fill out the attached election forms and return to Human <br />Resources no later than Monday, June 25. <br /> <br />University CitySchool Board <br />On Thursday evening, the approved its amended <br />budget for FY07 and the preliminary budget for FY08. The FY08 budget reflects: <br />? <br /> an operational expenditures of $39.5 million, with a $760,000 deficit and leaving <br />a $9.0 million or 22.76% fund balance; <br />? <br /> a capital project fund of $808,676, with a $140,00 deficit with a $4.5 million fund <br />balance; and <br />? <br /> $3.4 million Debt service expense. <br />The School Board also announced that Joylynn Wilson will step in as Acting <br />Superintendent while the District completes its search for a new superintendent <br />following the resignation of Dr. James Victory. <br /> <br />There were approximately fifty residents at the Open House and Public Meeting <br />River des Peres <br />regarding the University City Branch of between Purdue Avenue and <br /> <br />
