A bill was introduced by Mr. Lieberman, entitled: <br /> <br />BILL 8579 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.64 OF THE MUNICIPAL <br />CODE, RELATING TO THE NONUNIFORMED EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT <br />SYSTEM, BY REPEALING SECTION 2.64.120 THEREOF, RELATING TO <br />BENEFITS OTHER THAN ON RETIREMENT, AND ENACTING IN LIEU <br />THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 2.64.120 <br />BENEFITS OTHER THAN ON RETIREMENT," THEREBY AMENDING SAID <br />SECTION SO AS TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF DEATH BENEFITS <br />PAYABLE TO CERTAIN BENEFICIARIES OF EMPLOYEES WHO DIE PRIOR <br />TO RETIREMENT; CONTAINING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading. <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved adoption. A bill was introduced by Mr. Sharpe, entitled: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT OF A TRACT OF <br />LAND TO BE KNOWN AS WESTMINSTER'S FIRST SUBDIVISION AND <br />LOCATED AT 7188 KINGSBURY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading and assigned bill number 8580. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman said that in regards to this bill, he understands that we have no <br />discretion to deny this. He had asked the City Manager earlier if them was a <br />mechanism within our City code that would allow review by the City Council or by the <br />public of any planned architecture of any new construction in a single family residential <br /> <br /> <br />
