Session 1831 <br />February 11,2002 <br /> <br />BILL 8583 - AMENDING CHAPTER 10.40 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />RELATING TO STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING GENERALLY, BY <br />REPEALING SECTION 10.40.030 THEREOF, RELATING TO RESIDENTIAL <br />PARKING PERMIT PLAN, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW <br />SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.40.030 RESIDENTIAL PARKING <br />PERMIT PLAN, AMENDING SECTION TO INCREASE THE DAILY NUMBER <br />OF HOURS THAT PARKING IS RESTRICTED TO THE RESIDENTS FROM <br />EIGHT TO NINE CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A <br />PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved adoption. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion. The roll call vote <br />was as follows: AYES: Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. <br />Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe and Mayor Adams. Bill number 8583 passed and became <br />Ordinance 6356. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION: <br /> <br />1. A bill was introduced by Ms. Colquitt, entitled: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.62 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO THE POLICE AND FIREFIGHTER'S <br />RETIREMENT SYSTEM, BY REPEALING SECTION 2.62.150 THEREOF, <br />RELATING TO RETIREMENT BENEFITS GENERALLY - SCHEDULE, AND <br />ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS <br />"SECTION 2.62.150 RETIREMENT BENEFITS GENERALLY- SCHEDULE," <br />THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO INCREASE RETIREMENT <br />BENEFITS TO CERTAIN EMPLOYEES WHO MADE CONTRIBUTIONS PRIOR <br />TO JANUARY 1, 1998. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading and assigned bill number 8584. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved to adjourn to executive session, after the study session meeting <br />following the regular session this evening, under RSMo 610.021 (l& 3) to discuss legal <br />and personnel matters. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion.
