<br /> <br /> <br />Council Agenda Item Cover <br /> <br />___________________________________________________________ <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: <br /> June 18, 2007 <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM TITLE: <br /> 2007 State Stormwater Grant Agreement <br /> <br />AGENDA SECTION: <br /> Consent <br /> <br />CAN THIS ITEM BE RESCHEDULED? : <br />No <br />BACKGROUND REVIEW: <br /> <br />? <br /> On August, 2006 the City submitted an application for the FY 2007 State <br />Stormwater Grant Program. <br /> <br />? <br /> The stormwater project consists of the rehabilitation of the existing <br />concrete curbs and gutters along Old Bonhomme Road. <br /> <br />? <br /> Grant funding in the amount of $20,000.00 has been designated for <br />reimbursement of eligible stormwater grant expenses for the project. <br /> <br />? <br /> Project is eligible for funding at a maximum of 50/50 basis with local <br />matching dollars. <br /> <br />? <br /> Budgeted in Public Works for FY 2007-2008 <br /> <br />? <br /> Construction contract must be awarded by December 31, 2007 to be <br />eligible for reimbursement. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department that the attached <br />formal agreement between MSD and the City Of University City be executed. <br />H-1-a <br />June 18, 2007 <br /> <br />
