Session 1836 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />April 8, 2002 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall on Monday, March 4, 2002, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were <br />present: <br /> Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br /> Mr. Wayne Munkel <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Larry Lieberman <br /> Mr. Paul Schoomer <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />March 8, 2002 Study Session: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the March 8, 2002 study session minutes. Mr. Sharpe <br />seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />March 8, 2002 Regular Session: <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved approval of the March 8, 2002 regular session minutes. Mr. <br />Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - OPPOSITION TO CHANGES IN THE CONCEALED WEAPONS LAW: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams read a resolution opposing changes to Senate Bill 938 which would relax <br />the concealed weapons law. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved approval. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the appointment of Jane Brownstone, 7336 Kingsbury, to the Arts <br />and Letters Commission for a term ending January 2, 2006. Mr. Sharpe seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved the appointment of Robert Winters, 7242 Colgate, to the Arts and <br />Letters Commission for an unexpired term ending January 2, 2004. Mr. Wagner <br /> <br /> <br />
