Session 1836 <br />April 8, 2002 <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman noted that the no food sales outside is already covered by the existing <br />conditions. Mr. Lieberman also stated that it was important to have an ATM inside the <br />building for safety purposes. Mr. Ryan agrees and that Sinclair has never considered <br />putting one on the outside. Mr. Lieberman asked about the air compressor. Mr. Ryan <br />has no problem with this feature being added. <br /> <br />Responding to Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Ryan said that this station would be self serve and not <br />full service due to the lack of finding appropriate help. <br /> <br />Responding to Mr. Munkel, Mr. Ryan said that the lighting would be the existing lighting <br />that is already there. There would be no changes to the lighting. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer stated that it has always been a policy of the Council from time <br />immemorial that no liquor or beer sales ever be permitted at convenience stores <br />associated with a gas station and he urges his colleagues to continue that policy. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved approval of all conditions as stated. Mr. Schoomer seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENT: <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff announced that he had received a phone call from Ms. Jeri Friedman with <br />the State of Missouri Historic Preservation Commission and she asked Mr. Ollendorff to <br />advise the Mayor and Council and any others interested that they would be in the <br />Council Chambers tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. for an opportunity for the public to <br />comment on the State's Historic Preservation Plan. Paul Marsh, chairman of the City's <br />Historic Preservation Commission, will be here in attendance, as well. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS: <br /> <br />Ray Reckamp, 7100 Kingsbury, stated that he was here this evening to ask what the <br />Council's schedule for meeting to study the single exit housing issue in which a <br />moratorium was issued on February 2®. We are almost two-thirds through that 90 day <br />period. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams advised Mr. Reckamp that the Council has not decided on a date to meet <br />to discuss this issue.
