She felt that this bill has been before the Council for a long time and it <br />is now ready to go. <br /> <br />Ms. Ricci moved that we tightened up draft 3 as follows: <br />? <br /> Paragraph 1 a 1 b - accept recommendation of city attorney and change the <br />language in relating to quorum <br />? <br /> Paragraph b 8 – accept city attorney’s recommendation making the appeal process <br />specific language making it consistent <br />th <br />? <br /> Section 12.08.040 4 paragraph – adopt City attorney’s proposed language <br />? <br /> Paragraph B second paragraph – adopt the City attorney’s proposed language <br />setting the fee at $50 instead of having the urban forestry commission set it <br />? <br /> Section 12.08.08 b second paragraph – adopt the City attorney suggestion in <br />changing the appeal the time to 30 days rather than 60 days <br />? <br /> Paragraph d – adopted that the appeal language be that what was proposed by the <br />City attorney. <br />? <br /> 12.08.070 – revise that language to remove reference to 12 caliper inches to say <br />that firms or persons engaged in business or occupation of pruning or removing any <br />trees on development projects as that term is defined here and above and any trees <br />in the public community to make clear that this ordinance is for development <br />projects and City trees only and not private trees and not private citizens making <br />improvement to their property. <br />? <br /> Accept Ms. MacCartney’s recommendation of the maximum amount the developer <br />would have to pay to the tree bank. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner asked if this bill addresses Ms. Kennell’s concern of topping of trees. Ms. <br />Ricci said that the bill states that it is a prohibitive action to top trees. <br /> <br />Ms. Brot second Ms. Ricci’s motion and the amendments were passed unanimously. <br /> <br />BILL 8902 — <br />2. AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A FINAL SUBDIVISION PLOT OF A <br />TRACT OF LAND TO BE KNOWN AS “THE RESIDENCES OF CATES 1” AND <br />LOCATED AT 6404 CATES. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe, Jr. moved for approval and was seconded by Ms. Brot. <br />Roll Call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Mr. Price, Ms. Ricci., Mr. Wagner, Mr. Glickert, Ms. Brot, Mr. Sharpe, Jr and <br /> Mayor Adams <br />NAYS: None <br />Bill 8902 became Ordinance 6666. <br /> <br />BILL 8906 <br />3. — AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, RELATING TO ZONING <br />DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO SECTION 34-22 THEREOF, AND <br />ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW OFFICIAL ZONING MAP, THEREBY <br />AMENDING SAID MAP SO AS TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF <br />PROPERTY AT 7420 BLAND FROM "SR" - SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL <br />DISTRICT, TO "GC" - GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; CONTAINING A <br />SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> <br />
