BILL 8945 — An ordinance vacating and surrendering a part of the right-of-way of West <br />Kingsbury Avenue, but reserving any public utility easements, and directing that this <br />ordinance be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis County, Missouri. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved to adopt and was seconded by Ms. Brot. <br /> <br />Ms. Brot stated that neighbors were notified and this was a way for construction vehicles <br />could enter in order to keep these vehicles off residential streets. <br /> <br />Roll Call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Mr. Price, Ms. Ricci, Mr. Wagner, Ms. Brot, Mr. Sharpe, Jr., and <br />D-1-e <br />Mayor Adams <br /> NAYS: none <br /> <br />Bill 8945 became Ordinance 6900. <br /> <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> 1, Resolution 2007 – 9 Loop Trolley Transportation Development District (TDD) <br />Ms. Brot asked why the History Museum was left off of the latest map showing the TDD <br />district. Ms. Caroline Saunders explained that the trolley could go to the History Museum <br />but the building itself would not be in the TDD. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved to adopt, seconded by Ms. Brot and was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />BILLS <br />Introduced by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. <br />2. BILL 8946 — An ordinance to establish a procedure to disclose potential conflicts of <br />interest and substantial interests for certain municipal officials. <br /> <br />Introduced by Ms. Brot <br />3. BILL 8946 -- An ordinance finding and declaring that there exists in the City of <br />University City a certain blighted area as defined in section 353.020, Revised <br />Statutes of Missouri, 2000; that the redevelopment of such area is necessary <br />and in the public interest under Chapter 353 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, <br />2000, and is further in the interest of the public health, safety, morals and <br />general welfare of the people of the City of University City; said blighted area <br />(hereinafter “blighted area”) being more particularly described as follows: a tract <br />of land located in the City of University City, Missouri, being a portion of Cates <br />Avenue and specifically described upon Exhibit A, as attached hereto; and <br />containing a severability clause. <br /> <br />Introduced by Ms. Brot <br />4.
