<br /> <br /> <br />Council Agenda Item Cover <br />___________________________________________________________ <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: <br /> September 24, 2007 <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM TITLE: <br /> The University City Council’s Endorsement of <br />Grant Application for the Sutter-Meyer Farmhouse <br /> <br />AGENDA SECTION: <br /> New Business, produced by Councilmember Brot <br /> <br />CAN THIS ITEM BE RESCHEDULED? : <br />No <br /> <br />BACKGROUND REVIEW: Part of the Sutter-Meyer’s grant application process to be <br />included in the selection of finalists receiving a grant from the Missouri Historical <br />Department is to have a resolution passed by the City Council of the Certified Legal <br />Governmental city of University City. <br /> <br /> <br />The pre-application was examined by this state office and the state officials informed the <br />Sutter-Meyer Society and Mr. Lehman Walker of a few necessary requirements. One was that <br />the Historical Preservation Commission had to send in quarterly reports of its business for the <br />previous year; this has been done. Signatures by Lehman Walker and Julie Feier, city <br />manager are also required. <br /> <br />Passage of this resolution enables the Sutter-Meyer Society to continue its grant application <br />process with the state.
