Session 1845 <br />July 1, 2002 <br /> <br />as follows: AYES: Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Lieberman, Ms. Welsch, Mr. Sharpe <br />and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill number 8600 passed and became Ordinance <br />6371. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8601 - ESTABLISHING AN ADDITIONAL TAX FOR THE UNIVERSITY <br />CITY LOOP SPECIAL BUSINESS DISTRICT SO THAT THE ADDITIONAL TAX <br />ON THE REAL PROPERTY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2002-2003 SHALL BE <br />SEVENTY CENTS ($.70) PER ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) <br />ASSESSED VALUATION. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved adoption. Ms. Welsch seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Responding to Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Ollendorff said that this tax was elected by the <br />LSBD. It is less than they voted, because we had to roll it back under Hancock. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Munkel, Mr. Lieberman, Ms, Welsch, Mr. <br />Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill number 8601 passed and <br />became Ordinance 6372. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8602 - ESTABLISHING AN ADDITIONAL TAX FOR THE PARKVIEW <br />GARDENS SPECIAL BUSINESS DISTRICT SO THAT THE ADDITIONAL TAX <br />ON THE REAL PROPERTY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2002-2003 SHALL BE <br />SEVENTY-SEVEN CENTS ($.77) PER ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) <br />ASSESSED VALUATION. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved adoption. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff said that the original voted rate was .85 tax, but due to the rollback they <br />are now less. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Lieberman, Ms. Welsch, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. <br />Colquitt, Mr. Lieberman and Mayor Adams.
