Session 1857 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />October 21,2002 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall on Monday, October 21, 2002, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting <br />to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council <br />were present: <br /> Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br /> Mr. Wayne Munkel <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Larry Lieberman <br /> Ms. Shelley Welsch <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved for the approval of the minutes for the October 7, 2002 regular <br />session meeting. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved approval of the October 7, 2002 special meeting of the City <br />Council minutes. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved for the approval of the October 10, 2002 special meeting minutes. <br />Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT / REAPPOINTMENT: <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved to appoint Mr. Barak A. Corbett, 7433 Melrose Avenue, to the <br />Board of Appeals for a term ending August 1,2007. Mr. Lieberman seconded the <br />motion which was carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE: <br /> <br />Ms. Forsythe administered the oath of office to Mondonna L. Ghasedi, 6944 Kingsbury, <br />who will serve on the Board of Building Code of Appeals. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS: <br /> <br />Before giving his report, Mr. Ollendorff stated that the first item (Public Hearing on Set- <br />Back and Height of Single Family Dwellings) on the Consent Calendar was being <br />removed for additional discussion in accordance with Councilmember Wagner's <br />request. <br /> <br /> <br />
