Session 1856 <br />October 21,2002 <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR: <br /> <br />#1 Playground Equipment for Heman Park: Invitations to Bid were issued for subject <br />equipment. The estimate for the requirement was $25,000. The following bids were <br />received: <br /> <br />Roger J. Hutchinson <br />Fry & Associates <br /> <br />$17,718 <br />$21,895 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommended.accepting the lowest bid for Playground Equipment for <br />Heman Park (Roger J. Hutchinson -$17,718.00). <br /> <br />#2 Kin¢,sland Brid~,e Rehabilitation: <br /> <br />The tabulation of bid proposals for the above named project is as follows: <br /> <br />Sunrise Construction <br />Goodwin Bros. Construction <br />Pace Construction <br />St. Louis Bridge Const. Co. <br />Gershenson Const. Co. <br />Kozeny-Wagner, Inc. <br /> <br />898,572.49 <br />948,834.65 <br />1,010,000.00 <br />1,077,204.15 <br />1,092,176.57 <br />1,124,129.38 <br /> <br />Engineers Estimate <br /> <br />$ 880,296.50 <br /> <br />Funding for this project is from Federal and City General Revenue Funds. Mr. <br />Ollendorff recommends that this project be awarded to Sunrise Construction Company <br />(subject to MoDOT's concurrence) for their Iow bid of $898,572.49. A total of $900,000 <br />was estimated for bridge construction costs in the original grant application. The City is <br />responsible for 20% of the cost. A total of $101,000 has been budgeted for this fiscal <br />year. The remainder will be funded in next fiscal year's budget. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved adoption of the consent calendar. Ms. Colquitt seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM # 3 - SITE PLAN FOR 8200 OLIVE (OFFICE BUILDING ADDITION): <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff reported that the building's current occupant (an attorney) wishes to <br />expand. He recommended approval with several standard conditions; <br /> <br />1. That the addition be built in conformance with this approved plan <br />2. A change in the plan which would provide the required side yard <br />3. That a landscape plan be submitted and approved <br /> <br /> <br />
