For the purpose of defraying the cost to the city of purchasing and installing parking meters <br /> and of regulating, supervising and policing the exercise of the privilege of parking in parking <br /> meter zones, there is established a parking fee for the parking zones enumerated in Section <br /> 10.48.030, in the following amounts, for the privilege of parking a vehicle in a parking space, <br /> which fee shall be paid by depositing a coin or coins in the parking meter adjacent to the parking <br /> space in which a vehicle is parked: <br /> Rates <br /> Parking meter zones <br /> $ Minutes <br /> Zone A-15 minutes $ 0.25 15 <br /> Zone 8—four hours, $ 0.25 15 <br /> Zone C—one hour, <br /> Zone D—two hours, $ 0.50 30 <br /> Zone E—three hours $ 1.00 60 <br /> Zone F $ 0.25 15 <br /> Eight hours $3.00 8 hours <br />
