Mr. Sharpe seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM # 2 - Pubtic Hearin.~ -Paydav Loan ZoninR: <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff noted that a public hearing had been scheduled for that evening <br />for citizen comments on a proposed amendment to the zoning ordinance. This <br />amendment would allow conditional use permit status for short-term loan <br />companies near high employment, commercial/industrial areas. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams declared the public hearing open. When no citizen comments were <br />offered, he declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM # 3 - Attey Parkin~ - Pershing, Jackson to Purdue: <br /> <br />The City Manager reported that to assure access by adjacent property owners, <br />temporary no parking signs had been placed at each end of this alley. Since his <br />authority was limited to temporary restrictions, the matter was being brought to <br />City Council to decide if the ordinance should continue to be enforced or to <br />request that a bill be prepared to implement some other option. He noted that <br />there were several residents on each side of this issue and that they had been <br />advised of this item being on the agenda. <br /> <br />The Mayor stated that a number of citizens had asked to speak on this item. <br /> <br />Joyce Follman, 7393-A Pershing Avenue, said that she represented the condo <br />owners of the 8-unit development. They had met Saturday to discuss this issue <br />and urged the Council to uphold ordinance 10.40.100 which prohibits parking in <br /> <br /> <br />
