Session 1861 <br />November 18, 2002 <br /> <br />He recommended that the meter mechanisms be purchased from POM, Inc. for <br />their bid of $26,642.59. <br /> <br /># 2 -Parkview Gardens Special Business District Budget <br /> <br />The City Manager recommended that the budget submitted by the Special <br />Business District Board be approved. He noted that their annual income of <br />$60,500, derived from monies paid by property owners with in the district, is used <br />for security, beautification, a neighborhood newspaper, youth programs, and <br />administration. <br /> <br />#3 -Roof Repair- Heman Park Communitv Center <br /> <br />The City Manager reported receiving quotes for roof repairs to the Heman Park <br />Community Center. He said that $17,000 had been budgeted for repairs and <br />four roofing companies submitted bids. They were as follows: <br /> <br />Kirberg Roofing <br />Complete Roofing <br />Bartch Roofing <br /> <br />$19,543 <br />$23,061 <br />$17,348 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommended accepting Bartch Roofing's Iow bid of $17,348. <br /> <br />#4 -Rear Loadinq Refuse Vehicle <br /> <br />The City Manager said that only there had been only one response although <br />Invitations to Bid for a rear loading refuse vehicle had been sent to six <br />companies. That bid was from F &C Truck Sales with details as follows: <br /> <br /> Optional <br />Company Bid Price Equipment Trade-In Total <br /> <br />F&C Truck Sales $49,816 $4,075.69 $10,900 $42,991.69 <br /> <br />He therefore recommended purchasing the vehicle from F&C Truck Sales for <br />$42,991.69. <br /> <br />#5 - Three Dump Trucks <br /> <br />According to the City Manager, invitations to bid for the purchase of three dump <br />trucks were sent to six area dealers.
