Session 1865 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />JANUARY 13, 2003 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall on Monday, January 13, 2003, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting <br />to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council <br />were present: <br /> Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br /> Mr. Wayne Munkel <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Larry Lieberman <br /> Ms. Shelley Welsch <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was the City Manager, Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Councilmember Wagner moved to correct page 6 of the December 16, 2002 regular <br />meeting minutes as presented. Councilmember Lieberman moved for a correction on <br />page 4 under Agenda #3, Councilmember Welsch seconded the motion to accept the <br />Minutes as corrected and it was carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS / REAPPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Councilmember Welsch moved to appoint Ms. Jean Markus, 7436 Cornell Avenue to <br />the Municipal Commission on Arts and Letters for a term ending January 2, 2007. She <br />also moved to appoint Mrs. Roselee Lipschitz, 1149 Burch Lane, to the Historic <br />Preservation Commission for a term ending September 9, 2005. Her motions were <br />seconded by Councilmember Lieberman and the appointments were approved. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS: <br /> <br />AGENDA #1 RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMIT RESTRICTIONS- LINDELL <br /> <br />BOULEVARD: <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff, the City Manager reported that several residents on Lindell Boulevard <br />requested that their properties be included in the residential parking permit zone. He <br />recommended that the Council approve a motion to include properties from 7054 to <br />7047 Lindell. The motion was made by Mr. Wagner & seconded by Ms. Welsch. Mr. <br />Lieberman asked the City Manager if the affected residents understood the regulations <br />regarding the use of that permit. Mr. Ollendorff said that the matter had been brought <br />before the Traffic Commission and everyone was in agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />
