Helmet Use <br />According to the 2002 <br />National Survey of Bicyclists <br /> (NSBPAB) 50% of <br />and Pedestrian Attitudes and Behaviors <br />cyclists never wear a helmet or do not have access to a <br />helmet. A 2009 Consumer Report revealed that 58% of <br />American cyclists never wear a helmet. The NSBPAB <br />report found no significant difference between males <br />and females in regards to helmet use.
