The expansion of the pedestrian ramp requires the removal of 16 trees in the public right of way: <br />seven are in poor condition, eight are in fair condition, and one is in good condition. The University <br />proposes both to replace the existing trees and add new trees and groundcover to the area. This <br />project will result in planting 43 new trees with a net increase of 27 trees in the area upon project <br />completion.
